What we work on
We work across six areas.
What an institution needs rarely fits under one heading — it usually sits where several of these areas meet.
We build custom software for the work that off-the-shelf packages do not cover. Maintaining, renewing and connecting existing systems belongs here too — in most institutions the real problem is not writing something new, it is getting years of accumulated pieces to talk.
Exams, accreditation and student processes. Our product in this area is AKKS — the Accreditation and Quality Control System. Rollout, data migration and user training are part of the work.
We are not tied to one sector. From economic series to biological measurements, from numerical analysis to routine institutional reporting, the approach is the same: make the data an institution already holds orderly, comparable and fit to decide on.
Working out what is actually needed before any software is written: mapping how things run today, defining the need, deciding where to start. Sometimes the answer is not new software at all — that is a valid outcome too.
Where the system runs, how it is backed up, who watches it. Work that continues after go-live rather than ending there.
Defining who can see what, protecting the data, keeping access records. In institutional software, permissions have to be built in from the start rather than bolted on later.
